About
Damask Rose Food Fragrance is a food-grade aroma oil from fresh Rosa damascena petals grown and hand-picked in Isparta, Türkiye, and extracted within hours of harvest. It is diluted in fractionated coconut oil (MCT) and supplied in a 10 mL amber glass bottle with a fine-mist spray head. All percentages below refer to the rose oil fraction before dilution in MCT, as stated in the TDS.
Functional Properties
The olfactive arc opens fresh and dewy with green facets, fills out into a honeyed rose heart and dries down waxy, floral and long. 2-Phenylethanol at 74–84 % gives the rosy-honeyed body, citronellol at 9–14 % and geraniol/nerol at 3.5–6.5 % the bright rose petal facets, and eugenol at 0.4–1.0 % the soft spicy heart. Methyleugenol is naturally present and controlled at ≤ 0.20 %.
Quality
The specified constituents total at least 93 %, with the waxes nonadecane (0.4–1.0 %) and heneicosane (0.05–0.20 %) specified by GC-FID. Heavy metals are non-detectable and microbiology is within specification limits. A clear, pale-yellow to amber mobile liquid; shelf life 24 months.
