About
Water-Dispersible Damask Rose Food Fragrance is rose absolute from fresh Rosa damascena petals grown and hand-picked in Isparta, Türkiye, and extracted within hours of harvest, emulsified in a lecithin and water base. The milky-white to pale-yellow oil-in-water emulsion goes straight into rose syrups, sherbets and milk puddings with no pre-solubilisation step.
Functional Properties
The olfactive arc opens fresh and dewy with green facets, fills out into a honeyed rose heart and dries down waxy, floral and long. 2-Phenylethanol at 74–84 % gives the rosy-honeyed body, citronellol at 9–14 % and geraniol/nerol at 3.5–6.5 % the bright rose petal facets, and eugenol at 0.4–1.0 % the soft spicy heart. Methyleugenol is naturally present and controlled at ≤ 0.20 %.
Quality
The specified constituents of the rose oil fraction total at least 93 %, with the waxes nonadecane (0.4–1.0 %) and heneicosane (0.05–0.20 %) specified by GC-FID. Heavy metals are non-detectable and microbiology is within specification limits. Disperses in water and mixes with ethanol; shelf life 12 months unopened at 2–8 °C — shake well before use.
