About
Pink Peppercorn Extract is a supercritical CO₂ (SFE) extract of Schinus terebinthifolius berries. Unlike the water-dispersible extracts in this range it is a lipophilic, carrier-free CO₂ extract for oil-based and alcoholic matrices rather than direct addition to water.
Functional Properties
Pink peppercorn is prized for an aroma that sits apart from true pepper: bright, resinous and terpenic, with a fruity, faintly citrus top note and only a mild, short-lived pungency. Supercritical CO₂ extraction runs at low temperature and solvent-free, so the volatile top notes that define the material survive instead of being flattened as in steam distillation. The profile stays rounder and closer to the fresh berry than a distilled oil.
Quality
Extracted with food-grade carbon dioxide only, leaving no solvent residue to declare. Batch analytical data, documentation and samples are available on request; the article is supplied against an agreed specification, so confirm the required marker profile and packaging with our technical team before ordering.

- Flavour: gourmet seasoning blends, sauces and oil-based culinary preparations
