Additional data
- Storage conditions: Store in cool and dry place, keep away from intense light and high heat.
- Carrier: None. This is a pure, undiluted CO₂ extract.
- Packaging: 1–5 kg/bottle, 10–25–50 kg/drum.
- Shelf life: 24 months
- Dosage and use: This is the first-stage supercritical CO₂ extract of Madagascan pink peppercorn — the aromatic fraction, taken off at low pressure before the fixed oil is recovered in a second stage. It is supplied undiluted as a formulation raw material for fine fragrance, flavour houses, gin and aperitif producers, and premium personal care. α-Phellandrene dominates at above 30 %, with α-pinene and limonene supplying the fresh terpenic lift and a sesquiterpene tail giving persistence. Dose to effect: in flavour applications the material is typically used well below 0.05 %, and in fragrance at 0.1–2.0 % of the concentrate. Botanically this is Schinus terebinthifolius and not a true pepper; persons with a known cashew or mango allergy should avoid skin contact.
