Ginger Root Extract (Gingerol-rich) is a dark-orange oleoresin from Zingiber officinale rhizomes, standardised to more than 40% total gingerols and shogaols for nutraceutical applications.
Functional Properties
This bioactive variant concentrates the pungent phenylpropanoid fraction: 6-gingerol (>15%), 8-gingerol (>5%), 10-gingerol (>20%), 6-shogaol (<1%). Exceptional antioxidant potency: DPPH IC₅₀ <70 ppm. Total phenolics: >140 mg/g GAE. Gingerols and shogaols are the constituents studied for anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea effects.
