Ginger Root Extract (Terpene-rich) is a yellow-green transparent oil from Zingiber officinale rhizomes, a terpenic fraction standardised for aromatic applications. Contains 37.87% zingiberene and 70.5% total volatile oil.

Functional Properties

This terpene-rich variant prioritises the aromatic sesquiterpene fraction (zingiberene, β-bisabolene, ar-curcumene) for flavour applications. Also contains gingerols/shogaols (26.56%) for bioactivity. DPPH IC₅₀: 84.1 ppm. Total phenolics: 128.2 mg/g GAE.
