Ginger Root Extract (Terpene-rich) is a yellow-green transparent oil from Zingiber officinale rhizomes, a terpenic fraction standardised for aromatic applications. Contains >35% zingiberene and >60% total volatile oil.
Functional Properties
This terpene-rich variant prioritises the aromatic sesquiterpene fraction (zingiberene, β-bisabolene, ar-curcumene) for flavour applications. Also contains gingerols/shogaols for bioactivity. DPPH IC₅₀: <100 ppm. Total phenolics: >70 mg/g GAE.
