About
Rosemary Terpene Extract is a brown-green aromatic oil from Rosmarinus officinalis leaves, rich in volatile terpenes, standardised to more than 50% total essential oil. This is the terpenic fraction of the plant, distinct from the antioxidant (carnosic acid) grade. GC-verified composition: borneol (8.2%, CAS 507-70-0), (E)-caryophyllene (8.6%), α-terpineol (6.1%), camphor (3.0%), eucalyptol (2.4%).
Functional Properties
Category totals: monoterpenoids 26.7%, sesquiterpenoids 19.7%, sterols/triterpenoids 10.3% (including β-amyrin 5.5%, α-amyrin 4.8%, squalene 1.7%). The herbaceous-camphoraceous aroma and terpene bioactivity support cognitive wellness, anti-inflammatory protocols, and antimicrobial applications.
Quality
Pure supercritical CO₂ extract—no carrier added. Soluble in fixed oils. Heavy metals non-detectable. Full GC-MS/GC-FID compositional analysis available.
