Lebanon cedar root supercritical CO₂ extract (Cedrus libani) delivers the prestigious aromatic heritage of one of the ancient world's most revered trees. This red-brown oil presents a sesquiterpene-rich profile dominated by atlantones and himachalenes—the signature compounds of true cedar.

Functional Properties

(E)-α-Atlantone (19.3%) anchors the composition with warm, woody, slightly ambery notes. β-Himachalene (10.3%), β-himachalene oxide (9.4%), and α-himachalene (4.5%) contribute the characteristic cedarwood warmth with honeyed, slightly incense-like undertones that distinguish Lebanon cedar from Atlas cedar. Additional constituents—deodarone, allohimachalol, italicene, and diterpene traces—provide complexity and longevity.
