Green Tea SFE Extract is a dark-green waxy concentrate from Camellia sinensis leaves, standardised to an exceptional 59.3% EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate, CAS 989-51-5) — the dominant member of the green tea catechins. Oil-soluble, supercritical CO₂ extraction.

Functional Properties

EGCG is a catechin with documented antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and metabolic benefits. DPPH IC₅₀: 298 ppm (potent radical scavenging). Total phenolic content: 35.4 mg/g GAE. Caffeine content: 21.1%—moderate stimulant effect.
