Ginger Root Extract (Gingerol-rich) is a dark-orange oleoresin from Zingiber officinale rhizomes, standardised to 51.1% total gingerols and shogaols for therapeutic applications.

Functional Properties

This bioactive variant concentrates the pungent phenylpropanoid fraction: 6-gingerol (16.6%), 8-gingerol (5.77%), 10-gingerol (28.0%), 6-shogaol (0.81%). Exceptional antioxidant potency: DPPH IC₅₀ 49.3 ppm. Total phenolics: 185.8 mg/g GAE. Documented anti-inflammatory (COX/LOX inhibition) and anti-nausea activity.
