Dill seed Extract (Terpene-rich)

Dill seed terpene-rich supercritical CO₂ extract (Anethum graveolens) is the terpene-rich fraction and concentrates the volatile aromatic fraction characteristic of premium dill preparations. This pale yellow, mobile oil presents a bright, fresh herbal profile dominated by signature dill terpenes.

Functional Properties

The aromatic profile features dillapiole (13.16%) providing the characteristic phenylpropanoid depth, carvone (8.61%) contributing the minty-herbaceous top notes, and limonene (7.89%) adding citrus brightness. Dihydrocarvone isomers (6.23% combined) provide additional complexity. The fatty acid fraction, dominated by petroselinic acid (38.33%), offers structural lipid functionality for cosmetic applications.
